Here’s another rant of something that pissed me the fuck off today. First off, I read about Obama’s paster talking about the white man and the government keeping blacks down, then saying that the government created the AIDS virus to kill off minorities. He says these things and white folks say nothing. Then I’m watching ESPN and they have a commercial for Red Stripe beer (the one with the Jamaican guy) and the guy’s dancing beside a white guy with the beer, then hands the beer to the white guy and he starts dancing … badly. Then the Jamaican guy says, “Red Stripe, helping our white friends dance for years.”
My point here is this: If these things were switched and white people were saying it about black people, what are the odds there would be marches all over the country?
I’m not racist and I am, in fact, all for equality. But don’t claim that you want to be treated equally and then want to be treated separately when it comes to certain things.
1.) Lucas is such a whore and will stoop to selling out as much as humanly possible.
2.) In order: Star Wars Christmas Special, then tonight’s Deal or No Deal.
3.) Carrie Fisher looked like she was on something (and I can hardly say I blame her).
4.) Got really tired of the “I was a Vietnam War refugee” blah blah blah. She didn’t look all that old, so how old was she when she was a “refugee?” 3? 4 maybe?
5.) Lucas is such a whore. I know I said it twice but it needed to be said.
6.) I groaned so many times tonight with all the lines from “Vader” and the other contestants.
7.) I guess DoND is really starting to jump the shark now with the wheel and the specials and the taped message from Bush (which, by the way, was the lowest-rated episode of the show ever, so I guess everything Bush touches turns to shit).
8.) The models are hot. True. The models in the slave girl outfits were a geek’s wet dream. True. Should they talk? Absolutely not.
9.) This was two whole hours? I know they could have condensed this down to about an hour at the very least, but they had to milk it for all it was worth.
10.) Lucas is such a whore.There, that about wraps up my take on it.
Let’s see … what are some of the ones I remember while living in Texas? Sangwich was one, cereals was another. For me, though, it’s when people use certain words, like “Anyways.” It’s not FUCKING plural. Oh, oh! And the new thing that pisses me off at work is when I’m having an argument with a coworker and I get, “Pfft, whatever,” and they walk away. I want to take my desk calendar and kill them. That’s right, death by paper cut. Then, I’d pour that alcohol-laced hand cleaner all over the cuts for good measure. I have to deal with so many fuckwads every single day I’m at work. I finally got pissed off at my boss the other day when he asked me why there was a mistake in a story and I didn’t catch it. My response?
“I can’t catch ALL of your mistakes. Some are bound to slip through the cracks eventually.”
Yeah, I got a nice talking to after that one, but what the fuck? I’m looking for a new job anyway so they can all blow me.
I say we get one big house and we all can live together …

Someone want to spend the time cluing Bing in on the magic that is BitTorrents? FYI, you should see him. He’s so proud of his hi-speed internet access. He’s showing it off to all his friends. First a new hip, now this … it’s been an exciting couple of months in the Bing home.
Since I’m definitely not buying it on DVD, can someone tell me what it is that fell into the water? Maybe a screen cap, perhaps?
All I know is that my favorite shows are slowly starting to come to an end. They are as follows:
Jericho (already canceled, maybe)
Scrubs (not coming back to NBC, but starting to lose the funny)
Battlestar Galactica (two down, eight to go for this year, then, what, 10 next year and that’s it?)
The Shield (only one more season, and that’ll probably only be like 4 episodes)So, to recap, good shows get axed, but something with David Spade gets renewed many, many times? I’ll never understand people.
And Bing’s full of … eh, you get the idea.
Bryan, this is awesome. It’s the perfect way to vent your frustration without doing something that would require someone bailing you out of jail. I don’t think I’d have the patience to do this … I’d probably just end up punching the guy. But that’s just me.
