Yeah, I just watched the Countdown show and it got me pumped as a really pumped thing. Every time it’s the same backstory for GSP – travelling all over, training with a bunch of legendary coaches, talking in a weird accent – but I never get bored of it.
And I think I might be even more amped for the Aldo/Hominick fight. Those 145 dudes are so fucking insanely fast and full-on action stations and they both have sweeeeeeeeet striking. This card is just packed with badassness.

Now I just watched the Prime Time shows and tomorrow can’t get here soon enough.
It’s ludicrous that I’m jumping out of a plane tomorrow but what I’m most looking forward to is sweaty men pounding on each other. Ludicrous.

It gets worse … since I haven’t jumped before I’ll be going tandem, ie with another dude strapped to my back.

I’m oddly nervous for Lyoto. It’s pretty much a no-win situation for him being 0-2 and facing Randy. But I don’t want to see Randy ko-ed either, so I’m hoping Lyoto subs him. Fuck letting it go to judges.

Claude and Daniel wasn’t great, but those other four set the night up great. I just hope there are early finishes in the main event so I get to see the Spike fights – especially Diaz and MacDonald.

I guess he won’t get cut, it’s more the reputation. The shine is already off him right now and if Couture beats him he just falls back to being one of the pack – not a top contender anymore.
