I got to attend the UFC Press Tour stop here in Arlington, TX at AT&T Stadium (or, Cowboys Stadium for all you traditionalists). So yeah. I recorded shit there. I took pictures and videos. These ended up being the best. Unfortunately, no Dana, and I didn’t get to meet anybody, but it was still cool. Enjoy.

Oh yeah, and I don’t know if you keep up with Dana’s videos but there was a recent one from the last couple of months where Chuck Liddell is backstage showing Uriah Hall how to throw that Zombie Dislocation punch and Chuck says to Uriah, “Keep your arm bent or you can really hurt yourself if you land wrong.”
There are so many vids I don’t remember which event it was but I just wish Zombie had seen that vid.

That bit stuck in my mind for a variety of reasons (chief among them being that Uriah seemed like he was sucking up to Chuck (not that I blame him)) and as soon as they showed the first replay of KZ’s injury and the reason became clear Chuck’s words flashed in my mind like words flashing in someone’s mind in a movie where a guy is sitting on a couch watching some MMA.

So many fights over the last week I’m just catching up on some of the undercard stuff now. I think I might’ve gotten spoiled.
All of that and finally GirlyTUF has kicked off. Have you seen it Rob?

How about the news that BJ Penn is going to coach against Frankie Edgar on TUF 19 and then fight him at 145? I love it.
Yeah, with BJ nothing surprises me but I’m stoked to see him unretire. Hopefully he hires someone like Mike Dolce to help him get to the weight as intact as he can because he’ll have enough trouble taking on Frankie skill-for-skill, heart-for-heart without having to stress the cut.
Loved the Peña/Baszler fight from TUF. You could pretty much tell from the way they edited the build-up that Peña was going to do well, but that storyline really played out perfectly. Baszler is obviously a realy good fighter but it seemed like when she realised she couldn’t break Julianna she kind of broke herself. The Ronda/Meisha stuff is all gold too.

Holy shit I love Renan Barao. LOVE HIM! His dancing when he wins is the best thing in the whole world.
And also holy shit it was great to see Bones get all he could handle from A-Gus. Can’t wait to see a rematch. Hopefully after the Teixeira fight, assuming Bones wins that and A-Gus gets a couple more wins in the meantime.

Yeah, who knows what they’ll do – Dana was talking like an immediate rematch is a possibility. I honestly don’t think that Teixiera can give Jones the fight that Gustaffson did. Regardless, it was one of the best title fights I’ve ever seen, and one of the best fights period. Just amazing.
I believe the Barao/Wineland fight was stopped prematurely. He didn’t look very rocked to me, but Barao is definitely impressive. I really want Cruz to be ready, because I love that guy.
Carmont was really the least interesting fight on the card, even thought it was technically impressive. Great night overall.
Yeah, I thought Barao/Wineland was stopped early at first too, but he didn’t seem to protest all that much so I figured he was more hurt than he looked.
