ParticipantIt wasn’t as much the Flock-of-Seagulls-haircut, it was more the flock of real seagulls locked in his room, all in bondage costumes.

ParticipantI’m really excited now. SOS has always been my favorite Podcast. I was so upset when you announced you were leaving.
Anyway, I’m so excited, I’m going to attempt this FROM MEMORY. I think this was from show 75, but I’m not sure
Ice cream man, in a van, with a tan.
My name is Stan.
Come buy from me…
All the beef and the leaves
FUCK HOLE JOHNSON!
I’m at war with you.

Fuck Hole Johnson.…damn, I cant remember the second half (the song changed half way through). It might be:
Chopping blocks.
Falling rocks.
[something about cocks, probably]
but that might have been from a different episode all together…Anyway, cant wait for this!

ParticipantMy offer still stands. The domain name is yours if you want it.
Or if you just want some change, like a link to the new URL, I can do that too.

ParticipantI hate all that oxygen! HELL!!! Where does it get off, entering and leaving our loungs at regular intervals, providing us with life?!?
And yea, like it came up on show 145, the podcasts world is turning into comercialized BS that is totally pointless.

ParticipantOk, I cleaned out a tun of space, and tried again. the grand total 11.7 GB, that’ll end up being 3 DVDs full when I burn it.
I had one problem though. It seems like the link to show 104 is broken, can any one confirm this?
I’m going to burn the first two diskds soon, and the third one after show 150 is released (regardless of what the guys decide to do after 150).
I’d be willing to make copies for anyone who cant d/l the full 12 Gigs if the shipping costs aren’t too high (if they are, maybe you could paypal me over a few bucks)

ParticipantI feel the same way bucho. I can hear from how they were talking about it on 145 that its become such a burden and as much as they like the show itself and the fans, being able to set a definite point in the near future when they will be free of the responsibility was a weight off their shoulders. Then now to suggest some kind of compromise where they would end up still doing the show, even in a lesser capacity, I know it must be hard to even consider it.
What I really think the guys should consider is, go ahead as planned, end the show at 150, we know its a strain, but dont do anything final like shutting down the domain name or cutting off your balls or something. You dont even have to keep the archive online (though maybe consider keeping a few files online, the last few shows and best-of’s and stuff in the feed), just keep the option open.

ParticipantWell two things (three if your lucky).
Firstly, we said we’d pay 20$ a month, now thats probably a high estimate, but even $5 a month comes out to over double $25 a year (Tim from DV does $5 a month or $50 a year, “Thats like getting two months free! *TING*”)Secondly, do you really need enough to be able to quit your job? cant you think of it more like a part time job? You guys said you’d need 100,000 a year to continue it, but after few minutes, you talked yourselves down to like 3,000 a year (I remember you saying 250$ a month).
How many hours a week would you say, on average, the show takes up a week each?
