Damn! I don’t know what it is, but I found myself completely sucked in and playing along with you guys on the phone calls. I was sitting in my cube trying to stifle my laughter, but actually bust out laughing several times. No one poked their head over, so I guess they’re just used to it by now….:-)

You can still run Vista with your integrated graphics card using shared memory, but you won’t be able to use the Aero interface options.

Bryan: I think a full install of the OS come is at around 20GB ❗ if you can believe that. Hard Drive makers are increasing value to shareholders as we speak! 🙂
Oh yeah. Especially if you want to be able to run the Aero environment. You really need a top-end GPU with at least 128MB of RAM. 256MB would be preferrable. I may try to get it running on the MacBook Pro here.
I had Beta 1 running in a VM with no issues.
Paul, most of the new features are direct rip-offs of features in OS X. I guess that shows you who the leader is…
I downloaded it yesterday, but have not yet fired it up. I’ll be trying it in a VM as soon as I get a chance.
I wish they’d get back to the sound they had in the old days before they sold out. The new single “Dani California” sounds just like very song that has been played by RHCP on the radio in the last 5 years. It is starting to grow on me sort of like the smell of my own farts, but I do appreciate the homage to Hendrix in the guitar solo…
