ParticipantI saw an article discussing the difference in “power” between the three systems. I remember that the PS3 is 15 times more powerful than the Wii (the Revolution at the time of that writing) and something like three times more powerful than the 360.
In the mean-time, I console myself by playing some Beatles on my guitar. That is, until they install some DRM in our musical instruments so we can’t play any licensed songs on them without paying a royalty.

ParticipantI’m not sure about if and when, but it’s refrenced on page 17 of the June 2006 issue of PC Gamer magazine. Along with a pic that’s just dang funny.

ParticipantWith Amazon and Google and the open-source community taking notice of this, hopefully things will turn out favorably.

ParticipantAmen. I wrote my senator and congressman about this.

ParticipantYour argument is, “Just because they could, I don’t think they would.” Why give them the opportunity to make that choice? Why give them the power at all?

ParticipantDRM is bad. Very bad. As in not good. At all.

ParticipantAlso, a DVD can hold more information than a mini-DVD. Therefore, the games can be bigger and have more content.

ParticipantYeah it is pretty expensive. I’m actually more of a computer gamer than anything else. If you want to see some truly impressive graphics, dig up some pics of Crysis from E3. The graphics on that game are better than the PS3 or any of the other consoles.

ParticipantIt would be an entirely new Star Wars game. BioWare is very, very good at making RPGs, so it’d be interesting to see what they come up with, if they do it.

ParticipantUnreal Tournament 2007! Oops, wrong game again. I’ll be getting a nice PlayStation 3.

ParticipantI read today that BioWare might be working on another Star Wars online RPG.

ParticipantBattlefield 2142! Yippie! Oh wait, wrong game.

ParticipantHere is how I achieved the interface that you see there.
I started with the standard Gnome interface. Then I deleted the bottom panel, and dragged the top panel down to the bottom, then set that panel on auto-hide. Then I created a new panel and put it on the top, and added to it the Show Desktop button, the Window List, and the clock. Then I added transparency to the panel.
For the Controls / Widget theme I have Glossy P, for the Window Border theme I have Clearlooks 2, and for the icon theme I have Glossy-Glass.

ParticipantAnother classic, and the start of the series. The first few times I watched this, I almost made a mess. And not the good kind, either.

ParticipantI believe SLAX is based on Slackware, which can be a bit finicky. Ubuntu tends to be more of an “it just works” distro.
Same desktop, different icon theme and wallpaper.
