Interesting little commentary. It’s too bad he didn’t grow up watching The Muppet Show so he could give a more broad-based commentary, but that kid probably just hit puberty as it is.

I had to chuckle at his comment, when talking about his past Muppet experience, that he saw bits and pieces of the movie, singular. Just like when this other guy in relation to Discworld recently said, “It makes me want to read the book!”

That does look like a lot of fun.

That first video from the very first post also reminds me of that classic unicorn love video.

A quick visit to Google and now I do. We should make our own search engine and call it Holly. Only it never gives relevant results and is always just random.

After this, I want Indy to take on an army of feminists as he tries to save a bra.

Good point. As a bonus, they can use him for sweeping.

I think what it comes down to, at least for me and some of the other people you hear complaining about the new Indy, is the new Indy with the alien stuff has a significantly different feel for us than the original Indy with the supernatural stuff.

As I was thinking about it, one of the things I liked about previous Indy movies is they were realistic. As in if that supernatural stuff really existed, that’s really how it would act, and yes some of the action was over-the-top, but the whole thing tended to have a much more realistic feel to it.

The new Indy movie is just a cartoon.

Robby, do you do video? You should do one where you’re talking to yourself, but with two different outfits and two different personas. That would be so much of the funny.

They’re always saying we should get more exercise, right? Well I think the high jump qualifies.

And darn if it isn’t hard to get people to stop opening door handles with their mouths.

One thing I do like about this article is Spielberg seems to be admitting he actually hears the negative things said about Indy, unlike Lucas who doesn’t seem to hear any of the negative things said about Indy or Star Wars.

How can it be racist? Come on, the kid is obviously Chinese or Hispanic or something like that. They’re immune to being racist.
