ABS is great, in crash tests. I guess it avoids some accidents when people stand on their brakes on grooved concrete, but other than that I’m not a fan.

What was it 2 weeks ago now since we had that dump of snow? About that I guess, but yea the Toronto area got about a foot over night and 2 days later it was mostly melted. Reports around that time from home, more north easter ontario they were averaging -30C some days worse with the wind chill.
