KeymasterI think of Star Trek TNG, cancelling a self-destruct sequence.

ParticipantI just heard the song Superman Is Dead and I can’t get out of my head. Its a kick ass song.

ParticipantSaw the movie again but this time with my father. Has no one notice that Superman has a son? How big his boots are?

KeymasterI think nobody was mentioning major plot points until enough time had passed that all had seen it.

ParticipantI watched the movie again last night. It still kicks enough ass that I need to see it a few more times. Maybe I’ll stop at 10 before it leaves theaters.
There are all those little things that get me in this movie. The part where Lois is introducing Clark to her fiance. She says something about her fiance being into horror movies and Clark makes this funny smart but goofy spooked face. It was very sarcastic. And this movie got me tear eyed again. ->>>uuuuuuck!
Anyways, I will go see it again and again. I gotta get the soundtrack to go with my original ST from Superman 2.
Oh yeah. And that kid cracks me up. I have to say that my biggest FUCK YEAH moment in the movie is in the baseball stadium. Prior to that, after the plane has lost both wings and Superman flies straight down to the nose of the plane has the coolest looking flying. It’s all of the twists and turns, camera shake, smoke combined. It has a REAL since of speed.
I have to get back to work. What do you think I do, write about Superman Returns being the coolest freakin movie all day? Geez! 🙂
I like titties.

ParticipantI feel really sorry for Superman. I mean, he was so alone, and almost creepy with his stalking stuff.
Oh, and, when they shot the crystal dilly into the water, shouldn’t that have like, blown up their helicopter? Or the boat?
The more I think about the movie, the more I’m looking forward to Superman Has Now Been Back For A While And Now It’s Really Time To Let Loose And Kick Some Frickin’ Booty. I have this feeling that although I’ll definitely own SR, once SHNBBFAWANIRTTLLAKSFB comes out I won’t watch it hardly at all because SHNBBFAWANIRTTLLAKSFB will be so awesome.

ParticipantJerry don’t forget the beginning. Just before Krypton blows up, its just quiet and then… BOOM and you hear the particles fly thru space and then John “is a God” Williams theme hits and the credits. Talk about teared eyed. And speaking of tear eyed. At the end of the movie when Superman is talking…(spoiler) that makes me choke since I have a kid.

ParticipantYeah. It all got me going. The whole movie. That’s why I have to see it again and again.
I like titties.

ParticipantThats the same feeling I had after watching X2 a couple of times, I was like THIS IS WHAT I WANTED TO SEE. Not to burst your bubble, but I wasn’t letting Bryan Singer off without some of the problems I had with the movie. It was a great movie though, noow the question is why the hell Pirates of the Carrishit is the highest opening weekend movie of all time?

KeymasterBecause those numbers are based on fictional projections, and it’s more trouble to ‘call’ a studio on bullshit than it is to just one-up them the next time. It’s very loosely based on number of screens, a few ‘turn-ins’ and a bunch of wild guesses by suits.
July 12, 2006 at 12:06 am #20551rob
ParticipantEh, numbers mean nothing. I wanna see POTC2 really bad, but it’s not because of numbers. And awards also mean nothing, but that’s just my opinion.
