ParticipantWell it is true some of “our” humor (I say our because some of the most tasteless, potentially offensive jokes are either perpetuated or encouraged by the “Brotherhood”). [PawPaw, chocolate finger, drug use]
That is what makes SOS so wonderful and unique, NOBODY sounds like you guys, nobody has the balls to do an unedited show…noboday has the guts to bomb and admit it.
Not everyone will get you guys, and that is part of what makes it so great. Switched On is for the hosts and the listeners, you don’t try to please everyone by changing your product.
Does Switched On: have universal appeal?
probably notDoes Switched On: take the joke too far sometimes?
I don’t think soDoes Switched On: make you laugh till you cry?
Most of the TimeDoes Switched On: have Integrity and Guts?
You bet your sweet, swollen, prolapsed rectum it does….You guys keep on doing what you do….and I will listen to every damn show you put out.

ParticipantThis maybe coming from left field, but Eddie Van Halen let his son (15) Wolfgang, to be in the band as the bass.

KeymasterYeah, but they are a drug free band now.
Oh, I know about our show, and how we will hit or miss with potential listeners, and even what makes us different. I just think if I’m prepping people to list to our show, maybe I shouldn’t choose the porn titles and the child molestation to “ease them in”. hahahahahaa
The sampler disc is a good way to do it.

ParticipantYeah, the sampler disc is probably a good place to start. I think that the show is not for the uptight people who are looking to get offended, instead it is for normal people who have an open mind. At first it is a little difficult to listen to stuff about molestation and other hardcore material, but once you get used to it, that subject material is as natural as pooping and fucking (not at the same time).

ParticipantI keep thinking that one day we’d hit this Mario Kart mushroom in the road and just zoom on to stardom or something, but it really is like we’ll always be on the outside looking in. Like Kevin Smith, in a way, except, well, this isn’t profitable.
