octavious, if i don’t kill you, i will kill you. and what the frick a frikkin tomato pie? pizza? one would hope so…
First, you and what army? Second, tomato pie must be a CNY thing. I ask a Carolinan friend if he heard of a tomato pie and he though it was tomatoes cut up like apples and baked. Well no.
It’s like a pizza. It is usually made on square pan sheet. Spread the dough, throw some sauce, some spices like oregano, and then you grate Parmesan reggiano cheese on the whole pie. Its best if its consumed at room temperature and better tasting when its cold and a day old instead of pizza.

Bing, great fuckin question. I read this question this morning and now 10 hours later I still haven’t a good enough answer. For me no tomato paste or/and sauce is like death. I can live without garhhlic but not tomato sauce. But there are a lot of Italian dishes that don’t have sauce and they are delicious. My girlfriend, the future Mrs. Octavious (one of them, on my top 5 list) Giada De Laurentiis is on Food TV, has 2 shows called Everyday Italian and Giada’s Weekend. That’s one woman I would marry in a heartbeat. Like the saying a way to a man’s heart is thru his stomach.
