Yup. Sorry guys, my blood sugar was low yesterday. I used to be in the community at TFN, but they just turned ugly. they just bitch about how everyone’s sucks but theirs, so my jumpyness is hardwired now. On a funny side note, we reviewed an audio drama that wasn’t bad, but over all wasn’t great. Trick was, they hailed it as the greatest thing since sliced bread, so we set our expectations to that level, and it failed horribly. When we reviewed it, we trashed it, and justifiably so. As soon as our episode went live, the writer, director, and producer turned on each other, and they still haven’t recovered their relationships. The still have beef with each other after 2.5 – 3 years.
Enter RavenCon a few weeks ago. There is a chick with the same name as the director. I think its a coincidense, yet it turns out it’s the same chick. And I have panels with this gal at the con. Well, she doesn’t remember, peace is kept, and she even sends me an email telling me how much she enjoyed me being on the panel. she then tells me about her filmmaking experience (she wanted to submit something for my 20 Dollar Film Fest), and proceeds to expound on the greatness of her previous works, such as the audio drama she directed. I told her I remembered, and dropped the subject, realy quick. I am now on staff at that convention, same as her, and am hoping she doesn’t recognize my name.
