okay. so we have “first blood” right?
now comes “rambo: first blood part 2”. (with me so far? i bet some of you know where this is headed.)
then we have…
“rambo 3”? what the deuce? “rambo 3”!? where is “rambo 2”? or more properly i would ask where is “rambo 2: first blood part 3”? because that is actually what “rambo 3” is. right? if you were going to put “rambo” in the title that’s what it would be. but really it should be “(some manly title): first blood part 3”.
but what it absolutely shouldn’t be is “rambo 3”!!!
i would really love to meet the woman who decided to call it “rambo 3”. because (be honest) you know it had to be a woman who thought that was a great summer blockbuster title. running around in her power suit and the children be damned!!! those of us growing up wondering why we never got to see “rambo 2”.
oh i’m sure we all remember asking our dad why there wasn’t a “rambo 2”. right? and getting that too oft said cliché: “because you wank it too much”.
i think parents use that whenever they don’t want to have a conversation with their children.
“why is there no ‘rambo 2’?”
“why didn’t santa bring me an x-wing?”
“why does grandma have cancer?”and heaven forbid we turn the tables on them.

In the book First Blood, Rambo blows up a lot of buildings around town with dynamite? And talks Col. Trautman into killing him by shooting him in the chest with a shotgun!He also orders a hamburger with lots of onions.

i was not aware of that. i always liked first blood except for the ending. now i know why. but i did enjoy the latest “rambo” flick.

The latest Rambo flick is no-fucking around action flick… and a good one. Not sure if it’s right on with it’s lack of hamburger with onions execution, or if that’s exactly what it needed for Oscar attention. We may never know.
and william tell ain’t got nothin’ on john rambo. arrow through an apple. HA! john rambo could put an arrow in a worm’s anus inside the apple after it was eaten by a horse.
