My family just moved with my in-laws. Its all good accept for the fact that my father in-law is unreal, terrible when it comes to watching tv. I think that remote is attached to hand and keeps on changing the channels every two seconds. I believe that his favorite channel is channel surfing. Has no taste.
Like tonight. 1 1/2 hour before the wife and I leave to watch Clerks 2 (finally), my father in-law is watching all the stations and stops at MTV for a minute then onto the news, then stops at the Disney channel, and keeps it on. What I usually do is change the channel when he falls asleep but sometimes he wakes up and grabs the remote and goes channel surfing again. But for some reason I didn’t change the Disney channel because I am somewhat interested in what I was watching. My wife tells me that the movie that is on, is The Parent Trap – the one with Lindsay Lohan, like when she was 12. No offense Rob, I feel like a dirty old man, like watching The Professional.
Why would I take offense to that? And, she was 12 when she did that movie. And I can also say that I have no problem saying that when I saw that movie, I thought to myself, “You know, she could be hot when she grows up!”
