I haven’t found anything yet that can compare to the true magic of the SOS..

But I have been out there looking..

The Mediocre show has it’s entertaining moments ..

The Awful show has games and prank calls, very entertaining to me..

Closest thing to home made that I have found..

    Here’s a few I listen to:

I also listen to Mysterious Universe, because I’m into the paranormal stuff. http://www.mysteriousuniverse.org

Like Bucho said, I highly recommend The Chud Show at http://www.chud.com. It’s a movie review site, so the show is about movie discussion. But seriously, I’ve never thought pun-style humor could make you tear-up with laughter. These guys are funny as hell.

I’m buddies with Jason from Road Trip To Oblivion at http://www.jasonoblivion.com. This show is like an audio television series, but with really raunchy humor. Even I tell him now and then that he swears way too fuckin’ much, but I still think it’s brilliant.

I’ve always listened to Gabber JaW at http://www.gabberjaw.com. They’re one of the only lower-production ‘couples-cast’ type shows I still get sucked into and don’t wish to unsubscribe from.

I also listen to Hometown Tales, which is another paranormal-esque show about local legends and such. http://www.hometowntales.com

I guess everything else I’ve fallen away from besides the few super-popular shows. I used to listen to The Twisted Pickle too, but I guess it’s safe to say that even though I’m still subscribed, I’m not a listener anymore, because I haven’t actually listened in many many months. I listen to NLO because I’ve listened since the beginning, and even though it’s hit more dry spells than ever lately, I still get my entertainment’s worth out of it. That, and I really really laugh hard at Distorted View Daily http://www.distortedview.com.

I stopped listening to Keith and The Girl a few months ago after having listened to them for a couple years. Near the end of my listening, I found myself rolling my eyes more often at what seemed like endless judgement and morality rants rather than being entertaining conversation. Basically, no offense to them, but I started to think they should change the name to “Chemda and The Guy”, but that’s just my opinion. I might go back one day. Those five day a week shows can really start to feel like having audio roommates.

I like Infected by Martin Sargent. It’s awesome-ness was perceived more at the beginning of my listening. Now I just think it’s pretty good.

I listen to Diggnation, because sometimes the news stories are worth hearing about (I don’t go to digg.com and read anything there, so it’s always news to me). But sometimes the show itself is funny, other times, I think about how much I couldn’t give a crap about either host’s opinion.

Wow, I need to find new shows too.

I hear what you say about KATG Scatt, I haven’t listened for the last couple of weeks and I’ve realised I haven’t really missed it. I’ll go back and catch up in a while because Keith’s still entertaining quite often in his class clown way and I have a crush on Patrice but since I started relistening to previous SOS shows I’d rather spend my time tuned into what the three amigos have created for now.

There’s such an assload of entertainment there, both in the cutting up and the stories, it’s easy to see why James has been round the block four times already and why I’ve been sleeping in my Bee’s Knees Yo limited edition t-shirt for the last couple of weeks (helps fight bedbugs and dreams about Whoopi Goldberg). I’m still really bummed about the recent developments but everyday before bedtime I thank Zeus and Eric Estrada for the multitudinousness of hours of SOS content that do exist already.

I agree. The hours and hours of entertainment, especially when I go through the entire catalog again and take notes for SOSClassics, just keep getting better and better.. [Taking notes can be dangerous especially when laughing yer ass off at 65 miles an hour] The hits just keep on coming.

I have listened to my fair share of Podcasts. I go through iTunes on a weekly basis in the Comedy area as well as other areas, and I bail out of 95% of the subscriptions in less than a month. I probably have 25 that I am listening to right now.

Items such as The News from Lake Wobegon, Satire from the Unger Report, Podcast411, Skepticality, The Digital Freemason, The Little Donkey Show, The Presidents Weekly Radio Address (Quite Funny), Sick and Wrong, PLA Radio, NPR’s Intellegence Squared, Infected, Idiot Box Radio (What Style he has with his editing), and TekDiff.

Podio Books like This Is Life and Jack Wakes Up – Jack Palms Novels, 7th Son, How to Suceed in Evil.

    Just my 25 cents.

Anyone got a Logo yet for SOS:C?
