no doubt. i finally got around to watching it. and all i can say is ‘george lucas that’s how you do full cg aliens in a movie’. i know i shouldn’t compare this to star wars but its hard not to when i think of how stupid jar jar was.

but the movie feels complete even though it totally sets up a sequel. very well done all-around. it was so weird seeing an alien movie from a reverse perspective of the conventional ‘human stranded on alien planet’ movie. i think it was a very original and very refreshing piece of science fiction. much better than the halo movie it could have been.
