I know I bag on Windows all of the time, and if you read MS’s stuff on Vista coming out, you’ll see why. But there are some really impressive things that they plan for the OS, go read about ReadyBoost or ReadyDrive here for some cool stuff. ReadyDrive is a hardware function, but it’s the first I’ve seen of it.
Some of the Aero stuff is really cool, but that’s a lot of resources to dedicate to making background images correctly distort under glass buttons. As far as it is away from now, I look forward to seeing what a Mac OSX 10.6 may have in store for us by then. 😀
