ParticipantI know your hatred of Seth Rogen and Danny McBride is only surpassed by your hatreds for Mark Wahlberg and Michael Bay Robby, but tell me you don’t find this at least a liiiiiiiiiiiiiiittle bit funny.

ParticipantWhat? I loved Pineapple Express, so I don’t think they’re all bad. I just think that too much Seth Rogen is like too much salt. It leaves me thirsty and gives me a headache.
This did make me laugh a couple of times, though. I’ll give it a shot.

ParticipantHeh, I know mate, I was just going hyperbole on your ass because I find hyperbole inherently entertaining.
If Rogen was on a sitcom would you be able to handle it? I mean, a sitcom actor in a season is like 22 minutes multiplied by 24 episodes or something, right? Which is like the equivalent of 5 or 6 feature films, right?
Actually never mind that question, do you actually enjoy any sitcoms? The only TV you ever talk about is dramas.

ParticipantThese are the comedies I have on my DVR right now to record the series: Louie, South Park, The Big Bang Theory.
I don’t think I have to explain the first two. The only reason I record The Big Bang Theory is because of April. I laugh about once a month, but I tolerate it because it’s better than all the crime dramas April watches. I don’t count Tosh.0, late night talk shows or SNL because they’re not the same.
I find it hard to tolerate comedies in general, because I truly believe that most comedy is shit. Most dramas are shit, too, but there are still a few out there worth their weight.

ParticipantI’m surprised at South Park. I thought you guys had bagged it on the show a couple of times.

ParticipantI didn’t watch it for a while, and a couple of years ago I decided to watch it again after a long hiatus, and ended up starting with season 1 and went through all of them over a month. I’ve been watching every new episode since.

ParticipantActually watching the trailer again to me Rogen is the weakest part of it. I’ve really gotten to be a fan of Jonah Hill now and I love the way he delivers pretty much everything in every movie. Just saw Cyrus a couple of weeks ago and he’s great in that with John C Reilly and Marisa Tomei.

ParticipantI haven’t seen that. Maybe I should watch it.

KeymasterIt’s not bad. I liked it, and JH was pretty good in it for JH. He’s got his delivery style, and I like it… but it just doesn’t work in everything he’s cast in. I agree that I’m liking him a bit more in his newer roles, but I wonder if it’s because he’s gotten better, or has just gotten better at choosing roles.
