Reporting in from the car. On my way to watch the NASCAR race in darlington. Wish me luck. They’re a whole ‘nother breed down there. Even worse than bing’s clan.

Never been a fan but happened to catch the first race this year and now my wife and I are hooked.

So let the ridicule begin. 🙂

sadly there was no attractive skin to capture photographically. it was a night race and the temp was moderate and surprisingly there weren’t any loud-mouthed rednecks or flash-happy cuties in our section. 🙁

i did record the race at home in case aliens landed or something. there was a nice profile shot of me during the national anthem so that was a plus because now i can say i’ve been on national tv.

i have to say, there’s nothing quite like hearing and feeling the roar of those engines.
