The Trailer?
I’ve never enjoyed a trailer so much!!! As an aside I also saw the movie, which I thought was lacklustre and forgettable.
No, I had a great time with this movie, probably as much fun as Avengers. In the cold light of day I can acknowledge the hiccups but in the moment I didn’t care. This was my favourite Nolan Batman and maybe even my favourite superhero film.

KeymasterI hate typing up a big ass response to something, then clicking something makes you lose it all. Yeah… I’ll tell you what I really thought another time, right now I want to punch the internet in the vagina.

Since typing is your nemesis you and Robby should just gab about it into some kind of audio recording device and make the world a better place.

KeymasterI have no idea how that would work. I’ve never heard such a thing.

ParticipantStoked you could enjoy it so much second go round Rob. I ended up getting sick so I haven’t gone out to see it again yet.
I didn’t really follow your second question but the first one, about Bane keeping Gordon’s speech on his person for so long, how do you know he had it on him all along and didn’t just retrieve it from his filing cabinet before heading out to give the speech? And even if he did have it on him all that time, that doesn’t seem weird for a guy like Bane. For one, when you’re born and raised in a prison you’re accustomed to wearing the same clothes for weeks and months and years on end. He wasn’t exactly the type of villain to stomp around in bespoke tailoring.
Or did I miss your point?

ParticipantNo, it was the fact that Gordon had the speech on him for so long. The congressman had been missing for at least a couple of days, so it was strange that Gordon kept the speech with him.

ParticipantMaybe it’s just one of those things where the contents of the speech are so inflammatory Gordon didn’t want to let it fall into anyone else’s hands and the best way to prevent that was to keep it on his person? I don’t know, I don’t remember even thinking of it as a weird thing at all while I watched the film but I think it’s true that as much as I dug it one of the things the film doesn’t do well is to portray the passage of time.
