It’s composited I’m betting. That water shooting up after the “explosion” looks like a particle emitter anyway. The rest of it is not realistic as a wave moving out in a circular motion… because it converges on itself (instead of expanding). It’s a composite of an actual wave on the other background. That’s what I think anyway.
