Staging in Raiders

Did you guys happen to already see this post Soderbergh did on staging where he stripped Raiders of both color and sound to put the focus on staging, and how the visuals work to orient the viewer to the action, the mood and shit? It’s pretty interesting, but it’s really great to watch parts of the movie being able to keep this stuff in mind (you don’t get sucked into ‘enjoying’ the movie as much as watching it for it’s purpose.
