No, I guess I’ll have to look back over settings crap and see why on this newer laptop my manual settings were ignored. Oh well, it’s iPhone recordings, and it’s nearly 5 hrs long. I guess the lower bit rate helps file size, which would have been over 200MB the “right” way.
If it sounds like crap though, let me know and I’ll replace the file. Time to work the other near ready… uh… stuff.
The audio quality is ok, but the multiple recordings get out of synch about the second hour mark and you guys start out in a reverb room and go on to an echo chamber.

Yes, this would be the technical issue I was talking about. The conversion of Rob’s files kept resulting in a timing difference. They were terribly out of sync really far in. In the end, I just cut and rough sync’d the file in several places and said, well fuck you then!

It was weird though, it’s almost like it was converted at a slightly different rate, and so we ended up with a file that didn’t match actual playback speed or length.
I’ve put it behind me now though, it’s listenable, but goofy. Fuck it.
Okay….I listened to the last one. For the most part, the audio was okay and I got to hear Star Wars talk. So I was happy.
This one I couldn’t hear. I have moved departments at work recently and now have to listen via a single ear bud in a very noisy environment….Also, I kept hearing cutlry….Why are knives and forks on plates louder when people are trying to record!!?

Also, because I carry a knife and fork, as well as a plate with me everywhere I go. I make a wind chime directly in front of the microphone with them.
