I just finished watching Episode 2 along with the SOS movie commentary, and I just got to hand it to you guys, you really know how to make one hell of an entertaining 2hours 18mins. I never thought, of all films, I could be watching Star Wars and laughing my head off solid from beginning to end. I mean all that stuff about the ADD Jedi, the giant tick bears, namoideans looking like they’re wearing CD cases for hats and looking like human pez dispensers, Anakins mom saying “Ani……. Ani……… Ani…… Ani…. Ani……. Ani”, and of course, stoned yoda was fuckin awesome! Friggin comedy GOLD!
At one point you guys mentioned about maybe getting listeners to read lines from star wars and send them in and stuff. And also about doing them in really strong Scottish accents. Well, I happen to have the SW episode 3 script saved to my pc, I could record some lines if you want?
IF we ever did this, it would have to be A New Hope. The trouble with this project is that it could really draw a lot of people to the show if we did a good job… and that’s bad because we could have real trouble if we actually synced it to video. On the other hand, if we just put it out like this… as a podcast with an audio guide. Hmmmm.
It would be one hell of an editing project though. I could take this on, but not until mid-summer at the earliest. It may just have to remain a ‘that would be funny’ for a while.

I must have missed something. Did you guys actually do a SW commentary? If not, then that is the coolest idea ever!

I’d say over all it wasnt as good as the EP1 commentary but it had its moments, espicially the blue man part.
Really, it wasn’t? I felt like it was better, but I’ve listened to neither, so what the fuck do I know? Just leave me the fuck alone about it already Newman, I don’t fucking know!
Yeah, like I said before there were funny parts but there was also alot of silence as well.
Maybe it was cuz I was watching it at 11:30 last night…
The commentary is top shelf funny. Ep1 was a tad funnier but you guys continue with excellence. Onto Ep 3!
Ok, this was so long ago, I dont know if anyone will even remember it, but in the SOS movie commentary, in the part of episode 2 on Kamino where Obi Wan was fighting against Jango Fett, you guys said something about a part of that fight that was cut out for the UK version of the film, something about a Jango headbutting Obi Wan, anyone know what that was about and why they cut it out?
It was cut out because the British view that as a very violent move. Probably considered dirty fighting.
