ParticipantHoly crap! It’s out!
Maybe some day in the distant future, you guys will visit Dippin’ Dots and the meaning of ‘The End’ will shift slightly, if you know what I mean.

ParticipantI know — it’s gonna take Bing like a week and a half to download.
It was a whole lot of fun to do.

KeymasterBig file, big running time too. I encoded this sucker with extra special care too. 6.5 hours on LAME’s absolute best settings. It’s a beast to be sure, but I had to honor our first clean show since the FireWire mixer started screwing up. It turned out to be a weird problem with updated firmware, it was in there, but not ‘entirely’. They updated it so the super latest greatest, and that weird distortion shit didn’t occur. Now if Apple would just fix their noisy sound.

ParticipantFinished it
You know, Rob made a point on there that I think really kind of sums it all up so to speak – “This was never a show”. It was never a show. Okay, maybe some elements of a show were in year one, but the fact is, it was never a thing that I considered a…presentation. You guys, I would go so far as to say, you have the perfect podcast. Not that every show is always great, or that any other podcasters who edit, etcetera, are doing it wrong, but switched:ON won so many people over by being more than a show. I’m actually glad you didn’t ever get picked up. Because whenever you guys did the show, you seemed to be doing for the listeners, and yourself. Not so you can promote music, or any other shit, but you were doing it for everyone. If you had gotten picked up, they would definitely have you police the listenership, and not let fourteen year olds call in, or not let people send you audio files about Rob’s election in 2008. You deserved more recognition – but I don’t know if it would have been good for the show.
Onto the show. For some strange reason, this didn’t feel like a farewell everyone show. It seemed like a normal episode of SOS. Even your guys’ ascent into the heavens of podcasting didn’t feel like you were saying goodbye. However, all things must come to an end. Then again, all things that come to an end must be brought back for three more mo- um, years. Hah, all I’m trying to say is, you guys kept it like it always was to give us a hell of an ending.
Not to mention this episode is FUCKING HILARIOUS. I am going to miss the days where a Guitar Center Commercial about absolutely nothing made me laugh so hard I drooled a little bit.
I’m gonna miss the show, but if you ever have the ample opportunity, do it again.

ParticipantI never really thought of it as a show. I always just looked forward to my weekly dose of hanging out with the guys for a couple of hours and having some hilarious conversation. For that, I thank you guys. I haven’t had a chance to listen to 150 yet, but I’m looking forward to hanging out with you guys for a few solid hours of fun conversation.
Thanks for the laughs and here’s hoping it all comes around again!
