So I woke up this morning planning to listen to some of my podcasts in iTunes, and guess what I found? Absolutely nothing! My music, videos, and podcasts were all gone. I tried to reload the XML library folder, but no luck.
I was able to get all my music back in there, but all of the ratings are gone. I have a library of about 1100 songs, and most of them had a rating. Now I gotta do all that again, and I’m pissed..
That rating part of it sounds mega-frustrating. I decided one day to start rating (lasted about a week, off and on) and it was loads of work. Tough break.
At the time, I tried to make my own design for star-ratings. I thought 1 or 0 stars wouldn’t mean ‘absolute shit’ (because why would I want what I perceive to be absolute shit on my player?). I think it was:
Yeah, I kinda forget what songs I like, so I’ll make a playlist of the 5-star rated songs and listen to that. It’s not necessary, but helpful.
It sucks that a lot of time you put in has gone down the tubes dude but I don’t get why you would have songs you didn’t like on there anyway? Unless you use them for djing parties where people with shit taste are going to want to hear them I guess. You can’t bring sexyback without JT.
