    I noticed that there are a few favorite band topics floating around here, so I decided to start one for mine. Any other Rush fans out there?

    My Rush experience never really moved past Moving Pictures. I love intricate/technical bass work and nutty time signatures, but Rush never did much for me aside from the “radio” hits.

    I do like Geddy’s influence on Les Claypool.

    I agree with with Bing. I like them but not to the point when its “All Rush, All-the-time” – Fanboys reference.

    Great quotes, there. Honestly I’m too big a fan of music to be all one band all the time, but Rush definitely takes up a good chunk of my music listening time. I just hope they tour again…
