My last show of the year! It’s really just a movie review one, but it’s an hour and a half and I review 17 (!) movies. I don’t know how entertaining it is, but there you go.

But podcasted reviews are perfect for the lazy Captain. You don’t even need to have your eyes open to experience Rob’s reviews in this form, whereas in written form – unless you have one of your servants read it out to you – open eyes are a requirement, and who even has the energy to keep their eyes open this holiday season? Not me.

I do like doing written reviews, but I think the reviews I do via podcast are more thorough and thought out.
I think the main reason I do these are because for the most part, I don’t have much to talk about anymore. I don’t feel very funny, and I don’t really know how to fix that.

It’s worth a try, it always is. Because even if it doesn’t work, it’s time well spent.
Bucho, you are wrong. WRONG, WRONG, WRONG… wrong. It’s not more convenient, because I can’t listen to stuff like that while I work. My job is more reasoning and thinking than it is ‘doing’ these days… and I just don’t have the mental capacity for both anymore. –and as for my drive in, I’m on the phone about 80% of my short drive. It’s the only chance I really have to reconnect with the people I’ve moved away from.
I’ve also got a long standing rule of avoiding subjecting myself to intense laughter while behind the wheel. It’s downright scary. Ask Rob, he’s been there when it happens. I can’t see.

I usually listen to Rob’s show when I’m doing chores at home, like sorting out the dishwasher or tidying up outside or mounting a telescope so I can spy on a lady a couple of streets over who hangs out her washing in the nude … uh … I mean, so I can track the ISS and log the path of Venus.

I’m not sure. That’s definitely a question for Bryan. All of the mini-shows I’ve ever done are all still there, so I can definitely help to give the people what they want.

Holy crap dude, just yesterday I saw an old thread with you in it and was just wondering where you were and how you were and when you were. Glad to see you’re still around.

On the old board there was an RSS feed for the individual sections. I believe I can fix something like that up here, but I don’t know how media will work on it. I’ll put it in the backlog.
