When I said I was going to use my Hero HD to record something, and then I actually did it? And then I put the 1hr 45min video out there “uncut” for you guys to waste an entire day/night away with?
Rob and I go to see The Dark Knight Rises on the IMAX dome, and we record some random video shit on the way there and back. In the country and in the city. In the light and the dark. You get the point, I was just stalling until my YouTube upload finished.
Dam right it looked sexy, at least until it went to blackout mode heh. Damit rob, how many times do we have to say, “girth be sexy man”.
Not only do I look HUGE in this video, but because of the field of view, I’m not squashed as much horizontally as I could be… so I look like I could literally eat you. It’s insanity.
Oh yeah, and it DOES look pretty damn good… impressed with the exposure and color, the sound wasn’t bad (I ditched it because of the rattling) and the only real issue is the shaking. I’ve got to play with the camera and mounts some more.
This is so much fun you guys. You guys? So much fun.

I want to do one in the Miata. I think it will be harder to hear obviously, but the driving part would be tons more fun.

If I had time I might watch it all at once but I don’t so I’ve been watching it in 10-15 minutes chunks.

Even though I only listened in 5-15 minute chunks I found this solidly entertaining pretty much all the way through. It’s actually pretty cool and kind of epic.
