I guess I’m getting that thing again where it doesn’t show any new messages. I’m just now seeing this. When are the 3D versions coming out in the theaters?

That hasn’t really been brought up anywhere (that I’ve seen) since it was first mentioned last summer. I know that James Cameron is really spearheading to try to get theaters to do this, but just think about how many of your local theaters actually have DLP — it’s hard to get the theater owners to spend a whole lot more money like this.
I’m just picturing the kind of 3d effect of the stereoscopic lens like on the new Tool CD. In a movie, that’d be amazing.
Why is Lucas’s neck waiting untill 12th of september to release the OT on DVD? Why doesn’t he just chuck them out now? wheres the sense in waiting, and its not like there is anything more he needs to do, hes got all the films, nothing else needs to be made, produced of finished, why is it gona take so long to get them on the shelves?

How funny would it be if the added scenes will still be included but they’re now in the deleted scenes section.

Coming off of the summer movie rush, putting it distant from other major release dates and 2) production time. Sure the movies are done, but they are likely to put a lot of work into all new menus, new artwork and packaging and such. They don’t just drop what they are doing to work on these projects, it’s got it’s development timeline, it’s approval phases and it’s production phase. I’m sure a once-over of all video and audio to make sure it’s super THX certified will add to the time too. Even though it’s been done, it was not mastered for DVD at the time, and sampling and encoding technology has improved a lot since the last time it was done.
Another reason is because they’re releasing the next Star Wars Lego game on the same day. They’re always doing stuff like that.
Another reason is it’s only going to be available from Sept-Dec … Christmas shopping season.

Speaking of menus, what new stuff will/can use. They can’t use the same shit for the 2004 verison with the unaltered verison.
