Yeah, he pretty much says that Mann knocked it out of the park. This isn’t your typical cop movie, he says. He says it’s brutal and probably the most realistic cop movie ever made. He said that it really could be named anything, because this takes the names Crockett, Tubbs and Miami Vice and makes it into something really new.
Basically, I want to watch the shit out of this.
Fuck yeah! I trust Mann more than any other director except maybe Wes Anderson, he just rules.

When I heard they were doing this movie I expected it to be a steaming sack of shit.
When I heard Mann was doing it I totally re-thought my earlier expectations
My only question is this:
Like it or not Don Johnson did as much to 80’s fashion and style as Michael Jackson or Max Headroom.

Why the hell give Crockett a mullet in the movie?
(I know some of you will say it ain’t a mullet, and it technically may not be….but it damn sure looks like one)
