ParticipantThe first film wasn’t a classic, but is was fun, with Nic Cage’s lunaticness seeming like a genuinely good performance for once, and now the sequel is red-band trailerfied showing that Hit Girl still seems wildly unbelievable as a kicker of ass but Jim Carrey all masked up and ready for baseball-bat-smashing-bottle-against-face action does cause my eyebrow to raise in its favour. I honestly didn’t even realise it was him the first time I watched it. Honestly. Why would I lie to you?
Anyway, I didn’t see the first one in the cinema and I don’t know if I’ll see the second until it’s available for convenient home insertion, but what Carrey’s doing here intrigues me pretty nicely.

KeymasterYeah, I saw it yesterday and got the feeling that he’s a good addition to this cast, and not really as out of place as hearing “Jim Carrey is in Kick Ass 2” out loud. The first movie was dumb and entertaining, and now that I know what the movie is supposed to be, I gotta say I’ll definitely be watching the second –good or bad.

ParticipantI really liked the first movie. It wasn’t anywhere near as good as Super or Defendor, but I still really loved it. Can’t wait for the sequel. And I’m not just saying this because Bucho said it first, but I really didn’t recognise Jim carrey. It was like he was wearing a mask or something.

ParticipantI like Carrey in the Burt Wonderstone trailer too. It’s not cool to like him anymore, but I can’t help it, I’m still a fan.

ParticipantI’ve heard on the internets that the movie’s not too bad. I can’t see me going to the theater for it though.
Kick Ass – just not too sure about it. The first one seemed interesting, but in that “I’m a 13 year old without good taste” kind of way.

ParticipantI loved the first one. The second is good….just not AS good. It suffers mostly from the fact that Chloe Moreatz-a-name? is no longer a cute little kid kicking adults butts, and the reason she kicks ass in such an entertaining manner in the first was because of that. It also suffers on the soundtrack too. The first one had a fun and totally awesome soundtrack. The sequel…not so much.
Decent movie. Not as good as the first and not an essential see for the big screen. Wait for Netflix or a reduced price DVD

ParticipantI’m going to wait for you to come to my house and perform it as a one man play Ori.
