When we use the stuff that was funny on the show to be funny in personal lives?
Hey everyone, Just logged back in after a while of absence. I have been listening to the shows and such, and the humor is still flowing.
I know that I have mentioned things switched on has said said multiple times while talking to friends, family, relatives ever since I started listening to the show, and this question has been on my mind. I know that directing people to the site is one thing, but this topic could lead to new intuitive ways to show people some of the hidden humor on the internets.
It also brings me to the question; what would the switched on guys feel like if some of their stuff was fit into an act for stand up comedy as well. It has been a hobby of mine to make people laugh all the time, and lately I’ve been introduced to an opportunity where I could reference such things perhaps in a public situation.
So let the discussion begin.
First off, welcome back. Glad to see there’s still some fans out there. It gets lonely in here with Bing always screwing stuff up…
That’s a really hard question. Are you going to actually be doing standup?
I’m not totally sure yet, it all depends where I end up going to university/post secondary school. I was told I could be offered a job in my hometown, but the odds of me staying here are very little.
So, it could be a possibility, but right now I would say no. I just thought it could bring up a few good points for discussion.
Easy, do it (speaking for me only). If you make a few bucks, sponsor the show a few times to cover bandwidth. Or…you know what would be cool? Rally the fans together and send us hosts out for a killer steak meal…. haha. Just thinking out loud.
