Oh that, I had sent a message with via iOS and it took a good 2-3 minutes to show up on Firefox.

Yeah the stream is pretty delayed I think.

The transitions really seem to have an effect on the video compression during the change. A higher bit rate would fix it, but upstream is scarce here.

I just realized that I had a test video in the recorded videos section from one night at home. I have no idea what the heck was in it, or who the people were that viewed it 5 times.

I wonder if I was putting my nuts on camera or anything.

I’m going to shut the stream down at about 12p CST. Still on for about 15 minutes or so.

I’ll likely do this again this week.

Yeah – regular Safari. Strange though that it wouldn’t load until I hit “Pop Out”.

^Same here. Watching on the iMac, Safari.

Did that continue to stay that way, or was it only that way for the first half hour?

I changed the audio settings about 27min in, and it sounded pretty damn good over 3G. It was still super ‘low’, but clear and chop-free.

I’m going to prep different audio for my next test.

I believe the first hour. Didn’t stay long because something came up at work.

That happens with the uStream chat to me all the time. It just sits there not loading until I refresh enough or pop out/in a few times.

I was doing it in Chrome, and although the social stream updates slow, it was working well for me. Since they are both webkit based, I wonder what the issue is with Safari on there…

For my next test, I may run the page embedded version since that’s closer to what we’ll be running for the project here at work.
