I’ve had cable for a while (I love my fiber at work though) but it got knocked out by stupid ass line techs on Saturday, and it too this long to get it repaired due to ‘hoop-jumping’.
I heard that fiber optic cable is capable of transfering 40 Billion bits of info per second. Is this correct? By going from bright to dim 40 billion times per second. Bright being the 1 and dim being the 0 of the binary automatic internet based on science.
