Hahaa, yeah dude, Snorks were a total Smurfs rip-off but as kids we didn’t care. I’d say the quality of cartoons kids get these days is at least 100% better in terms of intelligence and humour. I mean the top stuff, there’s still a bunch of cack out there too.

Well, you have different options today:

1.) Whatever’s on Nickelodon … for what it’s worth, Spongebob is somewhat funny at times, as it Fairy Godparents.
2.) The adult cartoons … South Park, Family Guy, stuff on Adult Swim, etc.
3.) The rest, which consists mainly of imports from Japan. I’ll never get into the kids anime stuff. Hell, I still remember a guy in college showing me Urosukidoji and I damn near lost my mind!!!!!! Scary!!!!!!

So what am I doing? The geeky, I’m-really-too-old-for-this thing in buying the DVDs of the seasons when they come out … like He-Man, Futurama (which I have all of the seasons), etc. I say bring out the Go-Bots and Marshall Bravestar, too!!!

I find myself watching “The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy” on Cartoon Network whenever it’s on…two kids get the Grim Reaper to hang out with them and be their friend. He is Jamaican and hilarious.

Also, props to me for creating one of the largest and longest threads on this forum (I think)

There are a few good animes(sic?) out there that aren’t porn or make no sense…
