I’ve just downloaded this extension for Google Chrome and now find myself with access to region blocked video’s. Not just You Tube, but I now get the full US version of Netflix too. I haven’t tried it, but Hulu should also now work for me.

And guess what? You lot should now have access to things like the BBC iPlayer….Good yeah?

I know loads of people who are paying to have their DNS altered for access to the US Netflix. This doesn’t need it at all. Free to download. Unlimited usage. And a button in the top corner of the browser to disable the program for any reason.

Oly downside is that it means I have to use the PC to watch US shows as there isn’t one available for the Wii (which is how I watch Netflix on big tele)

We have a second network on our router devoted to a VPN in the U.S. which we use for Netflix and Hulu and anything really. The only thing about a VPN is watching your network security while using it. We use a free VPN so it is restricted for only watching videos, never logging in to webpages or email or anything. I prefer the free alternative to anything else and that is why I suggest it, I don’t like installing new stuff and agreeing to EULA stuff

Nice one Ori. I’ll check this out tomorrow.

Where are you at Ben? Not in The Merica?

I’m located in western Canada, Alberta, Edmonton. Like Texas only cold as hell and no tornadoes. And less american.

Maybe not that much like Texas.

But people in the small town nowhere have that southern drawl, so that is one similarity
