I remember back in like 199x when I got a weird radio thing from my parents and it was modular across like 200-800MHz, I’d walk around our back field trying to listen to people’s phone conversations. Heard some weird shit, but it was really cool to be a “hacker” lol

See if you can run DD-WRT firmware on your router, then slap on a $12 9db gain antenna and turn up the transmit power. You may eliminate the problem all together.

If you go new, I can’t recommend a solid Buffalo enough. The brand, not the beast.

i had something like that but i was stuck with nothing but old lady neighbor conversations. 🙁

What if buffalo were roaming hotspots? No wonder the natives would have followed them around.

Also that DD-Wrt is really interesting, I don’t know how I didn’t discover it earlier. Got all the files lined up but I can’t do it at 3am where I could end up giving up and suffering the wrath of not having the internet in the morning haha.

I believe a photoshop is in order for the buffalo hotspot. I’ll do it tomorrow
