No way dude, I thought 126 was a solid show pretty much the whole way through and Rich’s call was sweet. Just because Bryan doesn’t have a near death, suffocation/heart failure by hahas doesn’t mean it was a bad show. I gave it to one of my mates who’s never heard anything of SOS before and is very picky with what comedy he likes and he thought it was good stuff.
127 is one of the best. There’s only small parts where there’s talk about behind-the-scenes work stuff that can’t be properly talked about where the momentum falls away, but the boys are on fire with the whacky voices for almost the whole show up til the song games. And then the song game ruled. Armez’s call was cool too, he did fine in a tough situation. You can’t tell from the recording but it’s a very strange vibe being on the other end of the phone line because of distorted signals and shit. It’s not like you’re in the room with them or even on a normal phone call, so you’re constantly straining to listen and not step on any toes and it’s hard to get into the flow of a conversation with the boys. I mean, it’s basically a living hell like being in hydrochloric acid with starved piranhas biting your face and electric eels coiled around your wedding tackle while the ugliest, sweatiest, hairiest woman in history flays you with a whip made from her chest hair. Even Bing’s had trouble with it sometimes and that man is a talking podcast guesting machine, basically an unstoppable force.
Ok, that’s mostly bollocks about the eels and acid, but with a wierd phone (or skype) line it is tough not to just drop into the habit of being a listener and not letting yourself get into the conversaton. What I was really trying to say was 127 is a great show, from Rob’s jacking off while shitting story to Bing’s confession story, to the song game to the hilariousness that comes from the boys just saying normal things in a slightly (or majorly) funny voice, to Rob’s story of banging kids in the crotch, to spin-the-peanut and KFUK, to the social engineering of people to be scared to make a fool of themselves and Rob looking like a letter F, to Lemurs and Armez and some dipshit stumbling apon Boobylon, to Dan Perignon and Pat Robertson and Bing attacking the crazy-assed bitch from the pharmacy to Bing getting attacked by the crazy-assed bitch from the pharmacy, to smelly cooters and pisscakes and moving rocks.
In the end I didn’t even mind the noise (which strangely started exactly on one of Bing’s voicemails, nice one buddy!) much at all, I just zoned it out amongst the hilariousness.

I forgot to say I’ve listened to the show 3 times already so don’t think I’m saying this shit lightly. I have over 4GB worth of other shows lined up to listen to but SOS comes first. Three times. Hell yayuh!

The noise started with Bing’s call because the laptop’s output was muted for so long… when Bing’s VM comes on, the laptop is no longer muted, and had to be plugged in because of low battery. I’m working on a permanent work around for the gear to avoid this shit. I need to have Apple work on this thing, but I can’t give it up for that long.

Yeah, 127’s a great show. I felt that, “Okay, that was a good show” feeling. I just wish I was as funny as Jerry. ‘Cause that boy’s funny.

However, I will try to get a hold of your Star Wars Episode 5 & 6 commenteries if you do ’em. Do the commentaries for me please!?!? And Rob for Prez. even though he ain’t gay…
Oh, and I must say that Rob’s Scottish accent RULES! Can’t get enough of it! And I’m waiting for a pissed off scottishman crank call…
