ParticipantRight?!? Just when you thought you couldn’t love Louis CK any more his old buddy Jerry makes a beautiful video about what it’s like to hang out with him.

ParticipantThe latest episode, “How Would You Kill Superman?”, features Patton Oswalt, a Delorean or two and a drone crash.

KeymasterYeah, I was sad that the PO one was so short. The DeLorean thing cracked me up (because they are known for breakage in their old age), the coffee shop he went to made me want to kill things with mustaches and bow ties, and I really liked Patton’s high level idea for killing Superman. I felt pretty disappointed in his favorite super hero choice though.
The Louis CK one was great, and I liked so many things about it. I did Google the run aground event, and thought it was odd that a guy that just enjoys the boating now, but still looks a little unsure about it would have changed boats in the time period since it happened. Especially at that level of comfort/features. Maybe his new boat buddy told him to get something more classic or whatever, it just stuck out as a little weird. I also liked the mix of the little animations around his story.

ParticipantThe DeLorean breaking down was so perfect. Matter of fact, I think I learned about their unreliability from you guys talking about them on the show once upon a time. It’s like Yoda once told me: “Entertaining and educational the Switched On Show is. Now oil me up you will.” Or something. We were both drunk so my memory is hazy.
As for changing vessels, both boaties and comedians can be very superstitious, and Louis being the combination of the two might have ditched the old tub because after running it aground he felt it was cursed by witchcraft.

KeymasterI have yet to think that Joel McKhale (sp?) is funny. I can see how he might be… then he’s not. He’s from Seattle, that must have something to do with it.

ParticipantI hear you. As much as I was a fan of Community he was the least funny thing on it. And a lot of people are going to look unfunny in comparison to Tony Hale, so that does McHale no favours in this video.
