ParticipantAny of y’all seen any of this series? Jerry Seinfeld shows off some cool old cars and chats to peeps like Alec Baldwin, Brian Regan and Ricky Gervais.

ParticipantI have. Pretty cool concept.

ParticipantI have not. Yet.

KeymasterI glanced at it twice. It’s a cool concept, but didn’t really entertain me too much. I watched almost all of the Brian Regan one, but haven’t done much more than sample the Larry David one.
I am happy that VWs have appeared twice already. Surprisingly, his 911’s haven’t made the cut yet.

ParticipantIf any of y’all are Mel Brooks fans he’s in the latest one with Carl Reiner (The Jerk, The Man With Two Brains, Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid). It’s pretty much just watching Jerry hang out with old dudes laughing at jokes which aren’t as funny as how much he’s laughing at them but it’s still charming.

ParticipantLatest one is with Michael Richards and they get into the fallout from his racially charged outburstathon from a few years ago.
More importantly – another VW to kick off proceedings.

KeymasterI originally didn’t watch past the fact that my dream VW purchase is featured in it (WANT a dove blue double-cab)… I watched it after Jerry mentioned it today, and I really like this episode pretty well.
Originally I thought he was selecting from his own cars (perhaps he does often or whatever), but in this case I see the DC was provided by a production company (on that probably does vintage vehicles). At least it highlighted some kind of human limitation to his collection.

KeymasterAh nevermind, I see that Columbus 81 is Jerry S’s company… guess that is his collection in some way. Some of them are from other people though, so I guess it’s a mix.

Where did you seem him mention it today? On a VW site?

KeymasterOUR Jerry mentioned it to me on Skype IM… not Jerry S. Jerry mentioned the Jerry Seinfeld series, and I watched it. Sorry, that really wasn’t very clear was it?

ParticipantHere’s the new one with Louis CK. And a Fiat Jolly. And the shadow of the drone carrying one of the cameras they used to shoot it.

ParticipantYou guys should really check out the Louis one. It’s the best video of any kind I’ve seen this year (and I include THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG).

KeymasterI have it open and ready to play on my machine at home… so I’m close to watching it.

ParticipantI saw these first before I saw the comedians in cars getting coffee series. Both are pretty silly and I enjoy them
