    Hello switched on forums,

I was wondering what experience people here have in coding. I have done most of my work in python 2 -> 3 (python 1 if you count the arithmetic i was doing when i was 10), and a bit of C++, but the C was just to make a file that expanded exponentially. I have done a ton of html, css, and touched on php while I was doing web development work last year as well.

Once I know if you guys have tons of experience or not I may pose some problems I have, or just generic knowledge questions.

I could also answer questions you may have, if they fall within my realm of knowledge.

    Discuss. 🙂

PHP, Javascript, HTML, CSS and I was piddling around in Lua (very Javascript-like) earlier in the year doing some iOS development. I’ve written ColdFusion at an intermediate level, and I used to spend a lot of time doing VBScript for ASP before the .Net framework took over the planet.

I wouldn’t call myself a developer, although I do end up doing it from time to time.

Here in the UK, all our coding problems were sorted once we captured a working Enigma machine. Shoved it right up the Nazi’s then!!

We should make a switched on game. I’d be willing to work with you guys to make a version of pimp-ho, I can handle the coding(depending on how intense we want the fame to be), just need some art direction and game path development. It could also be done in flash I imagine, but I can only draw useless stuff in flash and make buttons and crap

I’d be willing to play the shit out of that game.

Haha, it would be funny to make a pimp-ho ’emulator’, as if it’s a ported old game.

We could code it as a super nintendo game, that is super easy. Use the engine from another game, input our own textures and game dialogue, and it would run as a snes game in a snes emulator. And if we go further, we could put it on a cartridge and all that

    This is where we start.

or even a commodore program but I’m really not into learning machine code

Well, keep in mind that Pimp Ho is an Atari 2600 era title. At least that’s what we envisioned. We used to have a screen shot that Jerry did around here somewhere.

I’ve also got the image on an archive DVD, I’ll have to look for it and post it.

I have the Pimp Ho image burned onto my mind for infinity but I don’t have it computerized.

Because everytime we try to invent the wheel the dinosaurs keep eating it.
