ParticipantHey, did you see that thing about the myspace thing they’re doing? Apparently, if you add http://www.myspace.com/moobysclerks2 to your friends and put them in your top 8, they’ll put your name in the credits for Clerks II! I did it already, so I guess we’ll see…

ParticipantOn the topic of getting into the credits. Did anybody watch the video podcast for the making of Clerks 2?
There were these 2 high school age kids, hanging arround watching the filming. And since they were not bothering anybody and not taking pictures, Kevin Smith put them in the movie. Only for about a quarter second as they walk by in the background, but hey, they get to say they were in Clerks 2.

ParticipantYeah, I’m not so sure the “Get to 10,000, get on the credits” thing is legit. Looks like the good folks at MySpace took the site down. Bummer.
Regardless of what people say, I’ll be there opening night to see this damned movie. Of course, it may not play in my little backwoods, podunk, tobacco-chewing, cousin-loving, Jesus-saves, sorry excuse of a town, but if not, I’ll just have to go to the “big city!”
For those at home playing the Texan version of the above game, that would be like living in Kerrville (near Kinky Friedman) and having to drive to San Antonio to do something.

ParticipantVersion3 wrote:Kinky for Gov! You hear that a lot in those parts? Not where I’m living now, but I kept up with Kinky when I lived in Texas. His books are awesome and his CDs are pretty cool as well. I’m thinking about getting a Kinky T-shirt with “Kinky for Gov, Why the Hell Not?”

KeymasterI really need to take the time to research him, but from what little I do know, he seems like a MUCH better candidate than we are going to see otherwise.

ParticipantAnything’s better than Gov. Goodhair … err … I mean Rick Perry. Met him once during his re-election campaign. He looked at me and said, “You’re not from around here, are ya?” I planned on voting for the opposition that election, mainly because his rival had a really, really hot daughter.
