You guys all know I’m a hopeless romantic kind of mofo and these are two of my favourite films and now there’s a third one about to screen for the first time at Sundance oh my god you guys am I the only one who gives a shit around this joint please tell me I’m not alone.

I have seen and enjoyed both movies. It was the first time I thought of Ethan Hawke as a real actor. I had heard about the sequel, but didn’t know it was screening at Sundance.
Early word out of Sundance seems positive. Richard Linklater, right Robby? The dude doesn’t hit home runs every time but he does interesting stuff almost every time. Which reminds me, I still have to see Bernie.

Wow, if I could define “waste of time” in post form I would completely cite your post. Just an almost never ending stream of chaos and despair. Almost like me doing a mini-show late at night talking to myself. In fact, I’d almost define “waste of time” in mp3 form to be my 40-something minutes of bullshit on that last one.
But hey, don’t fret, Master Kiwi, I like fruit, too.
Julie and Ethan with a “Put Your Fucking Phone Away During The Movie” message which also takes the piss out of Ethan’s character Jesse’s “pretentiousness”.
(I love that they look their ages in this and haven’t Hollywooded shit.)
