It’s fun but it’d be too time consuming to do regularly enough to make it count. When I have spare time I’d rather edit Switched On episodes into something more digestable for the masses and try and reach some more listeners because I know there are a shitload of people out there who’d dig the humour and storytelling of you guys but who either don’t know about the show or are put off by massive, unedited warts-and-all shows. And there’s a bunch of back-catalogue to play with so I’ll never run out of inspiration.
And then whenever I think I might’ve come up with something funny myself I’ll send it in to you guys to play on the big shows, and to Digitaltopia for The List, and it’ll be win-win. (I’m not sure if these mad-lib type things would be so funny to play on a show like SOS though. I think the planned nature of them might make them fun but less laugh-out-loudable than spontaneous stuff like store recordings or Bing’s on-the-fly rants and feedback, because SOS is a spontaneous type show. But I’ll send them anyway and you guys can decide.)
Also, I don’t have your email Lark. PM me if you want a listen to this bollocks and I’ll shoot it at you across the oceans.
