    No complaints here whenever you end up talking about Star Wars.

    Like you I never fell in love with Star Trek anywhere near as much as I fell in love with Star Wars, but whenever I did watch TOS I liked it. Like all the best sci-fi it’s less about sciencey gadgets and more about philosophy and ethics. (At least TOS was, I’ve barely watched any TNG, DS9, Voyager or Enterprise.) Of course it was also about the magical dynamic of the crew, especially the iconic Kirk/Spock/Bones triumvirate.
