My essence still senses Bucho's women.
What about the new Spider-Man? It’s being directed by Marc Webb. He did one episode of The Office, but I don’t really know that much about him.
The only thing I have against the movie so far, and this is just a very small thing, is that Sally Field is playing May Parker. Sorry Bing, even though you don’t really exist anymore, I know you love Sally Field, but to me it’s always looked like she just had a great big ole pumpkin for a head rolling around on her shoulders. I’ve never cared for her much. Not enough for it to effect my opinion of the movie however.
I saw Webb’s 500 Days Of Summer and it was ok but mostly because Joseph Gordon Levitt’s always fun to watch. The story itself was pretty meh. Everything about the new Spiderman looks like a drag to me. And not the good kind of drag, where I’m wearing my gf’s suspenders.

i’m interested in a fresh non-Raimi take on Spider-Man (and a Zack Snyder take on Superman). i’m not keen on sitting through another origin story. a really good origin story can withstand multiple viewings (i.e. Batman Begins) but most of the origin stories from this comic book film renaissance we’re experiencing don’t hold up on replays.

Hey but this time, instead of the spiders being in cases or whatever, they’re in a hi-tech lattice. That makes it unique, right?
