it’s funny how many conversations this has already spawned in the office. Not only did we try to figure this one out, but we talked about the time it would take to cross the known-universe if a straight line, or a finite size of the universe were possible for the travel period, as well as the affects of force, and opposite forced on objects both on and above the earth.
Fuck, we should have recorded all of that.
Here’s one that brought our office to a standstill.
If you launch a probe/satellite and use a planets gravity to slingshot it (speed it up), then why does light not speed up going around a gravitational force?. Apparently you can’t go faster than the speed of light.
I know that it can cause a doppler shift in the colour spectrum, but what if it was already at the extreme ends of the spectrum e.g. Ultra Violet/infra red.Pa-uls mind works in odd ways.
In true IT fashion, I’ll blame it on the wiring. 😀
If it doesn’t work, jam a screwdriver in there and jiggle it about.
