Participantif nothing else, watch at around 3:41 for the UFO to fire a beam of light that moves slow enough to be filmed extending and retracting.

KeymasterAm I the only one that noticed that King was fine with anyone interrupting Nye, but didn’t like anyone else being interrupted? I just kept noticing that. I also noticed that Nye was the only guy smart enough not to bother putting his credentials out there to try to defend any or all of his points.
People who are so sure that they’ve witnessed this call every document “evidence”, however it’s always just a report that some guys says he saw it. Declassifying that is really not different than printing Farmer Joe’s claim that his cow was slaughtered by aliens. I like Nye’s position, because it just assumes that there is so much room for error, that the conclusions that people draw are just plain silly; and they are based on the fact that they want to believe.

Participantagreed.
and the thing that also bugs me is that any UFO is automagically assumed to be an extraterrestrial. do these people not know that the military has technology a decade ahead of what they actually let us see?

ParticipantAlso, don’t they know that some UFOs come from undersea communities of intelligent beings, not from outer space at all.

KeymasterMany times the military has tech that we never see. Some is developed as part of a program that never becomes anything. Some, is just not financially viable as a product. The rail gun, is a good example.
This was even more true decades ago.

ParticipantRight, and sometimes rail guns come from undersea communities right here on Earth, not from extra terrestrials.
