    You read that correctly, I was just accepted by dvdtalk.com to be the newest reviewer on staff. OK so I won’t get paid, but free DVDs!?!?
    This month I get to review
    Cedric the Entertainer-UGH!
    Carlos Mencia No Strings attached-Hope it’s good, I don’t watch much Mencia
    Wanda Sykes Sick and Tired- Don’t watch much wanda either
    Teens from Uranus- Apparently some comedy show thing deal, I don’t know
    Scratch, the history of DJing-exciting?
    Ok so not the most impressive list in the world, but I’m new, not sure what to expect =)

    I almost got a gig like that a couple of years ago for DVDfile.com. I helped them out with a review of the Blair Witch Project, so they liked me quite a bit. I’m more of a movie critic than a DVD reviewer, though. They liked my writing, but could tell that my setup wasn’t up to scratch, as I didn’t write much about the quality.

    But who cares, right? I know I don’t…besides, I’ve got something better here…

    Yeah, the only thing that worries me is getting “burned out” I mean 4DVDs a month doesn’t seem bad, but 4 sucky DVDs a month can kill a man!
    On the good side it appears I may “not confimed” get to take a trip out to Pixar and take a tour of the animation studio.
    yeah, I had a blog a while back and the guy “geoff” liked my writing style, and asked if I would review, 3 days later I shut the doors on my blog (who need em) and started to do reviews for DVDtalk

    Nice work Stealthman. If that is your real name. Is that Cedric The Entertainer movie with Lucy Liu where he has amnesia and thinks he’s a deep cover agent or something? ‘Cause that looked plenty funny in the trailer. Don’t know about the others. I’ve listening to the DVDtalk radio podcast interviews for almost as long as SOS I think. They’re pretty sporadic, but usually pretty good.

    You need to post links when you have them up dude, then us movie-dorks can rip on your ass when you’re wrong :wink:.

    yeah…… the only true “movie” is the needle on the record documentry
    Cedric is standup so i Wanda sykes, and carlost mencia
    the Teens from Uranus is a variety show that honestly…. sucks (wait for my review *insert evil laugh*)

    Yes they do… I just gave a movie a three quarters erect!

    I could never review porn… I’d be done watching it after about 3.5 minutes.
